PROJECT छलांग
Project छलांग is an ELMS Sports Foundation initiative with a strong belief that one day every child in India will have an opportunity to engage in organized sports and physical education, and Project छलांग is the first step in this belief.
Project छलांग is made possible through unique collaborations among community-based grassroots organizations large-scale systemic organizations and domain expert organizations.
With Project छलांग we are currently working with more than 50,000 students in 700 schools across 12 districts, 6 of which are Aspirational Districts from Jhakhand and Bihar. We plan to reach out to more than 3,00,000 students by the next year, working with more than 3000 schools in 35 districts; with proposed 30 aspirational districts, in 6 different states in India. We have partnered with 12 community based organizations in the 6 aspirational districts currently and are looking to partner with 60 organizations in 30 Aspirational Districts next year.
Over the next 3 years Project छलांग aims to work in 100 districts across India partnering with 200 community based organizations to reach out to 1 million children.
For the project, we have partnered with organisation like Ambuja Cement Foundation, Bajaj Auto Limited, Jharkhand Education Project Council and Piramal Foundation.
